Freekibble, founded by Mimi Ausland, has donated over 144,360,560 pieces of kibble to hungry pets since April 1, 2008. When she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last year, Ellen provided tons of Halo Pet products to help Freekibble’s cause. Now, Halo Pets and Freekibble have found a way to team up and involve a new crowd- tweeters.

If you’d like to help feed a homeless pet, there are three ways you can do so, here’s the breakdown:
1- Play Freekibble’s Daily Trivia and donate ten pieces of kibble whether you answer the question right or wrong.
2- Tell your friends about Freekibble.
3- And finally, follow Freekibble on Twitter. Freekibble will tweet new events and when there’s a daily double- that’s 20 pieces of kibble per question!
So where does Halo Pets tie into this?
For every 1,000 new Freekibble followers on Twitter, Halo Pets will donate 1,000 meals to homeless pets (up to 100,000 followers).
Currently, Freekibble has about 1,200 followers. Please join Freekibble on Twitter. It’s for a great cause and it takes two seconds.
