Judge Jeanine Pirro has a TV courtroom and can be seen daily on the “CW” channel. Representatives of the show immediately offered the freak show owner, John Strong, a court date when they heard he was going to sue Calvin Owensby on the basis of breach of contract for Lilly, previously, the five-legged dog.

Strong v. Owensby was taped in Chicago already, and a representative confirmed exclusively to the Charlotte Observer that Strong won the case.

Owensby agreed to sell Lilly, a Chihuahua-terrier mix, to Strong for $3,000. Strong had plans to showcase her as one of his exotic creatures, so he made a $1,000 deposit for her. However, Allyson Siegel, 45, of Charlotte, heard of Strong’s intentions and outbid him. Owensby refunded Strong his $1,000 deposit.

According to the Charlotte Observer, the media attention has helped his business, but he decided to sue Owensby anyway.

Judge Pirro sided with Strong because she agreed that it was a breach of contract. The television contract said they would pay Strong $4,000 if Owensby lost, which he did.

Now that Strong is $4,000 richer, he’s going to put this whole mess behind him, right?

Not quite. Apparently, he told the Charlotte Observer that he’s “thrilled” and he may want Lilly back because he “didn’t fall in love with it just because it had five legs. It was a very cute dog.”

Lilly, now a four-legger, has settled in comfortably with Siegel and her six cats.

Lilly, the Chihuahua/Terrier mix, was about to head to Coney Island’s freak show, until her current owner Allyson Siegel, 45, of Charlotte, N.C. outbid everyone with a whooping $4,000 bid. Luckily for Lilly, Siegel has a wonderful heart and today, Lilly is visibly down to four-legs.

On Friday, July 24, 2009, Lilly had successful surgery to remove an extra appendage, and now, she’s jumping all over the place, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Siegel couldn’t be happier, but John Strong, the freak show owner, is threatening to sue because he paid a $1,000 deposit for Lilly before Siegel stepped into the picture.

There was a fundraiser to help raise money for the medicall bills. On top of the $4,000 that Siegel paid for Lilly, the medical bills totalled $2,000.
