Today was the second to last day of Live with Regis and Kelly’s “Top Dog Week.” Today, they featured the “Smartest Dog,” who is a Jack Russell Terrier by the name of Maggie. Maggie was featured on Oprah last year as well. Smart is an understatement, Maggie could be smarter than some humans!

Both Anderson and Kelly didn’t know what to believe because Maggie was amazing!

Live with Regis and Kelly continued the third day of Top Dog: Wednesday with guest co-host Anderson Cooper. Kelly and Anderson, both huge animal lovers, gave a warm welcome to the 2007 and 2009 champions of the “World’s Ugliest Dog” contest.

Pabst, the 2009 winner of the “World’s Ugliest Dog” appeared with his 2″ underbite. He’s too cute and a gentle furball! I loved Pabst’s New York City tour and it was a bonus since Anderson Cooper was the guest host!

The second guest was Elwood, the winner of 2007’s “World’s Ugliest Dog.” He was born with an unusually long tongue. While Pabst has a full line of teeth, Elwood is missing teeth on one side of his mouth. When the duo was placed on the floor together, it was so cute!

Kelly’s right when she says everyone should definitely adopt from shelters because that’s where Pabst was found!

For some reason, I’ve noticed that some of the videos don’t stream completely at once. So, here are a couple of options:

1-When it stops playing, you can click back to where you were and continue watching like that
2-When it closes, it becomes a small box, press play, and you can watch the complete video without it stopping
3-Open a new tab, but that didn’t work for me

Either way, the video is complete, but it just doesn’t play once completely.

On the second day of Live with Regis and Kelly, it was Top Dog Tuesday: Amazing Talent. The two dogs were Spencer Lococo and Toula. They both had unique talents; Spencer could balance on objects that even us, humans, would have difficulty doing, and Toula was trained to “help around the house.” They were both great and silly!

Spencer has the talent of balance and he was amazing! He was balancing on a wheel barrel, on top of barrel, and on a limbo stick held by Regis and Kelly. From the looks of Spencer Lococo, he looked like a pit bull mix, but I’m not an expert. He was so gentle and cute, just amazing to watch. I loved when Spencer’s owner, John, asked Kelly “is this alright?” I thought that was cute.

Toula is a little superstar. She was featured in Public Enemies with Johnny Depp and she’s hilarious! When her owner, Stephanie, was asking her to get things for her, she was becoming restless and excited about the crowd instead. The best part was when Stephanie asked Toula for water because she was thirsty and Toula looked inside and closed the cooler. Too cute!

Live with Regis and Kelly kicked off this week by presenting Amazing “Top Dog.” Their segment was created to honor the love of dogs as well as to showcase their talents; whether each dog actually has one or just physically ARE the talent. Monday’s Top Dog segment honored dogs who have broken records.

If you can think back a couple of months, you’ll remember the media frenzy for Chanel, the 21-year-old Dachshund.

She looks great!

Their second “record breaker” was to the largest dog. That title went to Zeus, a Great Dane, who weighed in at 249 pounds!

Hm, someone needs to go for a little run!
